Ground Beef/Chicken/veal Patties
Ingtredients
Ground beef/veal/chicken – 1Kg
Onions – 2 finely chopped
Long Green chillies – 2 finely chopped or ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Garlic cloves 4 finely chopped
Ginger – 1” skinned and finely chopped
Egg – 1 beaten
Breadcrumbs – ¼ cup
Coriander – ½ cup finely chopped
Potato – 2 boiled and mashed
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Method:
- Fry onions in 2 tablespoons of oil till light brown in a medium pot
- Add ground meat and continue to cook for at least another 10 minutes
- Add the chilli, garlic ginger and coriander and cook for 5 minutes
- Switch off the stove and let it cool.
- Once warm enough to handle, mix the mashed potatoes and mix you’re your hand
- Make patties according to the size you want
- Dip each patty in egg and then breadcrumbs and pan fry in a non-stick pan with minimum oil till both sides are nice and brown.
Eat with some steamed vegetables, salad and healthy bread
